About Us
The core band is a trio, although we work from a duo to a four piece when requested.
Steve, who hails from St Andrews in Scotland, plays lead and rhythm guitars.
Yvette, from Baltinglass in Ireland, plays bodhran, and percussion. She is also our dance caller.
Kim, the only local in the band plays rock steady rhythm to keep the feet moving.
James, from Dublin, plays mandolin, whistles, mandola and guitar and provides the vocals.
The music we play comes from the folk traditions of Ireland, Scotland, England and America. We have songs and dance tunes, jigs, reels, hornpipes and polkas that we’ve collected from all over. The Pogues and The Dubliners meet Scottish dance bands and American Oldtime.

For over twenty years now we have been playing all over the Midlands for parties, weddings and general merriment.
We have built up a great experience of what our audiences like.

Our prices, which are very competitive, vary depending on distance, date, line-up etc. We are fully self-contained and our equipment, transport and insurances are kept in best condition.
